Adjusting to 2 again...

This week was a harder one haha We are still adjusting to being a companionship of two again haha but it's been good. and TRANSFER CALLSS!! Me and Sister Brimhall will be staying together in the London ward! YAY! We are happy about that. We are getting two new Elders in the district. It'll be very good!!

Sad news of the week was that we had to postpone the Klassen's baptism! Sarah (the mom) is very very sick. We barely got to see them all week. Which was not good! But we called and checked up on her and door bell ditched some cupcakes haha. She is feeling a little better now and so soon we will get together with the whole family and talk about another date. Hopefully within the next couple weeks! But luckily they are still going strong spiritually! They read and pray every day as a family and as a couple. They are very excited to get baptized! We love them so much! And we have been able to keep in touch with Sister Smith to inform her about the baptism stuff, since she will be able to come up for it! So that is always good hahaha we miss her! Things are more quiet without the chatty one hahaha. It's funny.

We have been doing a lot of service for some members who are returning to the church. It's been a blast! We helped this one lady with her garden and then we had hot dogs for lunch!! YUM! Service and food.. can it get any better? no. no it can't. haha

We have still been blessed with being able to see and teach a lot of people!! It's the best! And it's so fun to see the change in Sister Brimhall and myself from when we were in the MTC together! We have grown so much! Especially with how we teach together! She is so great! OH! and we will hit our 6 month marl together (tomorrow) so that is fun too! I love her!!

Funny news from this morning.. We got up at 6:30am (as always) and fell on the ground to say our morning prayers.. then a random alarm went off and we were all like "what? that is weird.. we didn't set another one.." then we got up and went into the living room to work out till 7 before getting ready for studies. typical. EXCEPT , Sister Brimhall looked at the clock.. its was 7:10! We were so confused!! Then I noticed my elbow joints were really sore and so were Sister Brimhall's ankles.. we fell asleep in our prayers!!! Then thought it was like a five minute prayer.. nope. 40 minutes. hahaha AH!!! I felt so bad haha. You better believe I prayed and said sorry. Good thing that random alarm went off!!! I think God set it haha saying hey.. I know your sleepy but you need to get up hahaha.  It was funny. I love you all so much!! Have a great week!!!!

Turbans?

What an eventful week!
So to start the week off, last Monday we had a big family home evening night at the church to show the Klassen's how to do it! We invited a few families from the ward, had a lesson, game, and everyone brought a treat to share! YUM! It was so fun! We moved all the couches from the foyer and put them in the gym and made it look like a living room. it was so funny! They loved it! They get baptized on Saturday! AH! Praying everything works out how it should!!!

We also had Zone Training Meeting this week. Its always so good. The Zone Leaders are the best! I learn so much! But the best part was when it started. So Sister Smith's Birthday is August 26, and we were going to celebrate it at the end of the transfer (August 22) but then the whole "Emergency Transfer" thing came up so we surprised her and celebrated it at ZTM! We got there a few minutes late to give everyone time to set up. Sister Smith loves mini things, so we had mini treats and cups and spoons, it was the best! And she also likes turbans. Kind of strange i know haha but when she sees a turban she takes that as a sign that God loves her. Because she thinks they look so neat and one day she was sad and prayed to see God's love for her and BOOM! TURBANS EVERYWHERE!! SO... we got all the missionaries in the zone to wear a scarf on their head like a turban for Sister Smith. We took them off after a few minutes of course, because we didn't want to be rude or anything. But it was the BEST!! we walked in the room and everyone had one on! she cried. Seriously. It was pretty neat to see everyone come together to make sister Smith feel loved. The unity was amazing! It was fun. Then the next day we had to drop her off with her new companion. BOO. It was so hard. lots of tears. then some more tears. I love her so much. It was a blast serving together. But we will see each other at the Klassen's baptism! YAY!!  We also get our transfer calls this week! I have no idea whats going to happen!!

Things are very different now just having one companion haha me and Sister Brimhall are re-figuring out how to work together. since we had our system down with the three of us. It's weird but still good. I love Sister Brimhall!! We went street contacting the other day and it was so funny!! We haven't street contacted in months because we were always busy at teaching appointments all day! But this time, everyone canceled on us. So we went on the streets and oh my... it's true that when you don't use a skill often.. you loose it!!!!! We were not good at it hahaha we were so awkward. We talked to this one lady and sister Brimhall looked at her.. waited... then said "....do.. you like church?" ... the lady walked away hahahahah it was SO FUNNY!! needless to say it is in our goals this week to get better at that!!! Practice!! hahah.

I love you all so much! thanks for all the love and support!! you are the best!!!

Surprises.

This week was crazy haha. First of all.. Taylor gets home this coming week?! what?! It's crazy. Selfishly I wish he could stay out longer haha the blessings and strength I have felt having my big brother out at the same time as me has been unreal. I think of him often and how we are in this together in a way. He is amazing. I can tell how good of a missionary he was because im in that world now too and I know. He worked hard and he did amazing things. I am so proud of him.

This week was very emotional haha. #sisterproblems . I got a really bad chest cold so that wasn't fun. But luckily my companions are the best and took care of me! Oh I love them. Which brings us to the craziest thing ever. So Saturday morning after our studies, we checked the phone and saw three missed calls from President and two voice-mails. That is never a good sign. That means serious business if it's a call straight from President! So we call him back. He said he had good news and great news and asked us what we wanted to hear first. We chose the good news. He then decided to save the good news and give us the great news! the great news was that the church is true and God loves us. So we giggled in agreement and asked for the good news. He then explained how there was a little bad news first. The bad news is that a sister got really sick and is being sent home! so heart breaking! Then the worse news came... as the only tripan in the mission, that clearly means that one of us is being emergency transferred to take her place. (we are only half way through this transfer). So.. Sister smith is going to a different ward in Winnipeg and going to be a Sister Training Leader! Needless to say we all fell to the floor and cried for a good hour. Then got up and got to work. It was a long day! It's hard when you become best friends with your companions then they get taken away so fast! But she will be an amazing STL and we are SO proud of her. Me and Sister Brimhall will stay here and hold down the fort until transfers and who knows what will happen next. One of us could go too. it's crazy!! I love these Sisters so much. They have taught me so much. Sister Smith is precious. She is so full of love and kindness. Good thing is, since she is still in Winnipeg she will get to come to our families baptism on the 16th! Thank goodness! So that will be very special. Then Sunday we got so many prayers answered. We were very stressed and freaking a bit (she leaves Wednesday) and it's very busy but we have been praying a lot together and we have felt so much peace lately. It's interesting because I got a blessing a couple weeks ago talking about changes that will come and such! well.. HERE IT IS! hahaha. But really.. I have so much peace in my heart. I KNOW that God is behind everything and it'll all work out and make sense soon. I love being a missionary. It can get crazy at times haha but oh the miracles we have seen together. It's amazing.

The Klassen's are doing amazing! (our family being baptized soon). The dad has stopped smoking completely and almost completely done with coffee! YAY! They amaze us every time we go over. They are prepared. This last time we went over and they talked to us about wanting to do family home evening but didn't know how to do it so we go over and do it with them. They are all reading and praying everyday and really understand that it is a life style that will change their lives for the better. They hold nothing back. I remember when we taught tithing. which is normally a harder one for people. We went over and they said they read their home work (which was a pamphlet on tithing.. that we were going to discuss in greater detail) and they told us before we even started that they are saving the money that would go towards smoking and using that for their tithing and read all these scriptures and oh my... they do this every time hahaha we literally don't do anything. They do all the changes and everything on their own. They are ready. It's going to be amazing!!! I love them!!!!!

Love,
Sister Heinzlmeir
